Description

Every day we have the opportunity to rebuild relationships and heal wounds by extending and receiving God's grace. Offer 'The Grace Card'... and never underestimate the power of God's love. Mac McDonald's son is killed in an accident and for 17 years he is filled with bitterness and the pain erodes his love for his family and leaves him angry with everyone including God. The rage Mac feels has stonewalled his police career and makes for a highly combustible situation after he is partnered with the forces new rising star Sam - who also happens to be a part-time pastor. Home life for Mac is just as frightening as the horrors he encounters on the Memphis streets that he patrols, with money tight, emotions running high and constant arguments with his wife and Blake his surviving son. Things aren't so great for Blake either, he's been hanging around with the wrong crowd and is now in danger of flunking out of school. Sam Wright, Mac's new partner never dreamed of being a Police Officer, his calling has always been to be minister, just like his Grandpa George. But leading the small start up church just doesn't put enough food on the table for him and his young family and know with a promotion at work to Sergeant, Sam begins to question if his real calling may be more in line with police work rather than leading a church. These two men are thrown together - can they somehow help each other or is it just impossible for either to look past their differences. Starring Michael Joiner, Michael Higgenbottom and Academy Award(R) winner Louis Gossett Jr.

Very Good! September 8, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Edmonton, AB
Grace Card is a heartfelt movie. A police officer Mac and his family went through a terrible tragedy in losing their son. Though it has been 17 years, his bittnerness and pain takes an effect on his marriage as well the relationship with his other son.
As another tragedy takes a hit to the family, they come to realize who God is, through the help of his coworker Mac comes to the Lord looking for help but most importantly forgiveness.
Grace Card really shows people the meaning of forgiveness and how our Lord wants us to forgive others as he has forgiven us.
I do recommend this movie to all, Especially if we need a reminder on how to forgive!
